Product Description
Fiber optic patch panel is a panel box that protects the fusion of
fiber optic cables and fiber optic pigtail in optical cable laying
terminal. It is mainly used for the direct and branch connection of
indoor optical cable and the fixing of optical cable terminal,
playing the role of pigtail storage and joints protection.

Product Structure
The fiber optic patch panel is composed of three parts: outer
shell, internal components and optical fiber connector protector.

optical disc is not less than 37.5mm. 2. providing easy
identification mark and easy operation space for re-connection
- Fixing device: for fixing the sheath of the optical cable, the
reinforcement component of the optical cable and the pigtail fibre
of the wiring.

Product Functions
The function of the fiber optic patch panel is to connect two
pieces of optical cable. The fiber optic patch panel is where the
end of the optical cable is connected, and then the optical switch
is connected through the optical skip cable. Therefore, fiber optic
patch panels are usually mounted on a 19-inch so that they can
accommodate a larger number of cable terminals. The function of the
connector box is to connect two segments of optical cable. fiber
optic patch panel is to connect and protect fiber optic cable and
fiber optical pigtails. In practical work, fiber optic patch panel
can be used as indoor connector boxes. But seldom are connector

Operating Instruction
- Pull down the clasp and open the top cover;
- Reserve the cable to be fused, fix the steel wire in the cable on
the front bracket, and then fix the cable at the entrance of the
cable.
- Peel off the reserved optical cables and fuse with pigtail by a
fibre-optic heat-shrinkable tube and fix them in fusion splice
protector.
- Pull down the clasp once more and cover it up.
Installation Requirements
- The installation location, installation mode and height of
information module, multi-user optical cable terminal box and
assembly point wiring module should meet the design requirements.
- When installed in the movable floor or on the ground, the
termination box should be fixed. The Information panel is installed
either vertical or horizontal. The lid of terminal box is openable,
and is supposed to be waterproof, dust-proof, anti - pressure and
parallel to the ground.
- When both information module and power socket are installed in the
bottom of fiber optic termination box, the spacing and protective
measures should meet the design requirements.
- The fixing method of the base of fiber optic termination box should
be determined according to the specific conditions of field
construction. It can be installed by anchors and fasteners. And the
fixing method of the open bottom box of the information module
depends on the conditions of the construction site.
- The top cover should be firmly covered without loosening, so are
the base, information module and panel. The panel should be kept on
a horizontal surface for an elegant and neat appearance.
- The wall-mounted fiber optic termination box should be located
about 300mm above the ground, especially when free access floor is
used in your room.
- All kinds of socket panels should be marked with color, graphics
and text to indicate the type of terminal equipment business
connected.
- Installation boxes of fiber optic connectors and adapters for
end-to-end optical cables in the working area shall have sufficient
space and shall meet the design requirements.
