Q: What is the difference between DDP and DDU in international logistics?
A: The biggest difference between DDU and DDP mainly lies in who bears the risks and expenses
in the process of import customs clearance at the port of destination.
DDU is the duty unpaid delivery at the port of destination, and the goods are delivered to the buyer
at the designated destination;
DDP refers to delivery after duty paid at the port of destination, which means that the seller completes
import customs clearance at the designated destination and delivers the goods that have not been
unloaded on the delivery means of transport to the buyer.
Q: Is it better to send multiple shipments in a single batch of FBA?
A: The logistics freight is different in different weight stages, so paying attention to the delivery weight
can save a lot of logistics costs. Generally speaking, 21kg and above are considered as large goods.
They are not charged according to the first weight and subsequent weight, but according to the price
per kilogram. Therefore, the label freight of large goods will be relatively cost-effective. If the weight is
70kg or more than 100kg, the price will be lower.
