THE HISTORY OF THE JADE ROLLERThe origins of the jade beauty roller lie in Chinese history. These beautiful tools were once used by the elite to keep skin beautiful and women ageless. Known as the “Stone of Heaven”, jade was and still is a sought after cool green stone as beautiful as it is useful.
In ancient times, the naturally cool properties of jade were used by Mayans and Egyptians to aid with muscle relief in massage.
Your body has what’s known as a lymphatic system. The lymphs in your body are constantly hard at work collecting toxins and moving them to your body’s waste systems.
Sometimes though, the overexposure in modern life to toxins can cause these lymphs to become overwhelmed and hold onto more toxins than they should.
Massaging your face with a jade roller supposedly helps to reactivate these lymphs and get things moving again, aiding with circulation overall and reducing puffiness, especially around the eyes.

Jade rollers are simple enough to use.
1. Keep yours in the refrigerator for the best effect
2. Start with a clean, dry face
3. If desired, apply your skin care product to the roller
4. Starting from the center of your forehead with the large end of the roller, move the roller from your browline to the edge of your scalp
5. Continue working the roller from the center of your face out as you move to your eyes, nose and chin
6. Use the smaller roller for your eyes, and use light pressure
7. Gradually apply more pressure as you approach the outer edges of your face
The idea behind this is that you’re breaking up sedentary blood vessels and moving pooled up blood in capillaries away from your face.
1. Wash that beautiful face of yours ! Add a few drops of facial oil or spread on some moisturizer.
