Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber
Colorless 35 Shore A Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber 6Mpa
for Sealing switches
DESCRIPTION
Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) is a type of silicone rubber that is specifically designed for injection molding processes. LSR is a unique material that can be molded into complex shapes and intricate parts with high precision and accuracy. The injection molding process involves injecting LSR into a mold cavity under high pressure, where it takes the shape of the mold and cures into a solid material. LSR has excellent mechanical properties, including high elongation, tear resistance, and compression set resistance, making it ideal for use in applications that require durability, flexibility, and heat resistance. Injection molding LSR is a highly efficient and cost-effective process that offers short cycle times, low waste, and high production rates. The unique properties of LSR make it suitable for a wide range of applications, including medical devices, automotive components, consumer goods, and electronics, among others.

HOW TO USE
The mixing ratio is 1:1 by weight. Component of group A and group B
is supplied into injection molding equipment from attached storage
part of machine, and through the static mixer to mix before inject
into mold. The pot life is 4 hours at 25℃ after mixed, but higher
temperature will short it.
If the injection molding equipment will have a long time to leave
unused, please clean remained rubber timely, or keep them in sealed
packing under low temperature (-10℃ at least).
CURING CONDITION
The vulcanization can be heat accelerated. The curing time depends
on mold size.
The necessary time of thermal conduction should be fully counted in
case of the mold size is big enough. The cooling and demold time
also depend on the article size and the curing temperature.
PACKING & SHIPPING
The product is supplied in 2×20Kg plastic drum, net weight.
The product has a shelf life of 6 months at least if stored in the
sealed original container between 0℃ to 30℃.
Storage time beyond the specified data does not mean that the
product is no longer usable. In which case, the properties,
required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance
reasons.
There is no shipping limitation.
FAQ
1. What is the shelf life of Injection Molding Liquid Silicone
Rubber?
The shelf life of Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber can vary
depending on the manufacturer, storage conditions, and the specific
type of LSR. Generally, LSR has a shelf life of 12-18 months when
stored in a sealed container in a cool and dry environment.
2. Can Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber be recycled?
Yes, Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber can be recycled using
specialized processes such as pyrolysis or mechanical recycling.
However, the process can be challenging due to the unique
properties of LSR, and the recycled material may not have the same
quality as the original material.
3. What temperatures can Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber
withstand?
Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber can withstand temperatures
ranging from -50°C to 200°C, depending on the specific type of LSR.
The material's thermal stability and insulation properties make it
suitable for high-temperature applications in various industries.
4. How is Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber different from
thermoplastic elastomers?
Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber is a thermoset material
that cures into a solid form, while thermoplastic elastomers are
thermoplastic materials that can be melted and reformed multiple
times. LSR has better properties such as heat resistance,
compression set resistance, and biocompatibility, making it a
preferred choice for specific applications.
