Single Shaft Shredder
Product Description of single shaft shredder:
1. Single shaft shredder is a widely used type of machine.
2. It consists of a single/solid shaft with square blades bolted into it. This shaft rotates at about 74-83 RPM, depending on the model, and these blades pass through a bed knife on the base of the cutting chamber.
3. A hydraulic ram continually pushes the material against the shaft of the shredder for continuous cutting.
4. Single shaft shredder machine is an ideal machine for plastics, paper, wood, fiber, rubber, organic waste a wide variety of non metallic materials.
5. The size of the Single shaft shredder machine required for each project depends on the initial size of the material, capacity and the final particle size desired.
6. Single shaft shredder machine is almost always used with a screen, which retains the material in the cutting chamber to reduce the material even further. The standard cut on a single shaft shredder is 25-40mm.

1) Rotator knives are DC53 steel and Stator knives are D2 steel. Every rotating knife has four cutting edges, after worn, it can be rotated 90degree and continue to use the next cutting edge.
2) The main electronic controls are a combination of Siemens and Schneider.
3) Microcomputer technology incorporating rotator speed variations with start, stop and reverse features.
4) Automatic reverse sensors to protect the machine against over loading and jamming.
5) Engineered using split bearing block technology so the blades can be changed quickly and efficiently.
6) Specifically designed rotor to be extremely wear resistant.
7) Rotor teeth can be rotated 4 times before they need changing, lowering running costs and reducing down time.
8) Extremely versatile machine able to process a number of different materials.
