HDPE Water Pipe Connection
1. Material preparation: Place the pipe or fittings in a flat
position on the docking machine, leaving enough cutting allowance
of 10-20 mm.
2. Cutting: Cutting the impurities and oxide layer on the welded
pipe section and the end surface of the pipe fittings to ensure
that the two butt ends are smooth, smooth and free of impurities.
3. Alignment: The ends of two welded pipe sections should be
completely aligned. The smaller the wrong side, the better. The
wrong side should not exceed 10% of the wall thickness. Otherwise,
the quality of docking will be affected.
4. Heating: The butt temperature is generally between 210-230
degrees Celsius. The heating time of the heating plate is different
in winter and summer. The melting length of the two ends is 1-2mm.
5. Melt butting: It is the key of welding. The butting process
should always be carried out under the melt pressure. The suitable
width of crimping is 2-4 mm.
6. Cooling: Keep the docking pressure unchanged, let the interface
cool slowly, the cooling time is as long as the hand touches the
curling edge stiff, no heat is felt.
7. Completion of docking: Release the slip after cooling, remove
the docking machine, and re-prepare the next interface connection.
