Fire prevention. Most inkjet printers use ketone-based or
alcohol-based ink, and the cleaning solution used mostly contains
ketone, alcohol and other components. These chemicals are flammable
and explosive, so we must pay attention to prevent fire when using
them excessively. Any used cleaning material, such as paper towels
for wiping, is a fire hazard. These materials must be recycled in
time and treated in a safe way after use. Do not extinguish fires
caused by electrical appliances with water. If fire caused by
nitrocellulose ink must be extinguished with water, the power
supply must be disconnected first. Many inks contain nitrocellulose
as a binder, so they are highly flammable when dried, and oxygen
will be produced when burned. Therefore, it is best to reduce the
temperature when extinguishing fire. For example, water is a better
choice.
