The N Series is a family of energy-efficient and affordable 1 GbE and 10 GbE switches that can be used to scale and modernize your network infrastructure. The Dell Networking N2000 Series offers enhanced high availability Layer 3 standard Ethernet switches with basic routing capabilities. This series of switches has the following features:
Multi-path, loop-free redundancy with MLAG, no spanning tree for
comprehensive bandwidth utilization and high availability
Provides interoperability with Cisco's fast interface between VLAN
spanning tree (RPVST+)1 and devices using Cisco Discovery Protocol
(CDP)
Combine products that use the latest open standards protocols to
provide more flexible options in your network
Layer 3 IPv4 and IPv6 capabilities, including support for static
routing and routing information protocols (RIP versions 1 and 2)
for up to 256 interfaces
Includes OpenFlow 1.3 support for interoperability with industry
standard OpenFlow controllers.
Provide environmentally friendly power options for network devices
with PoE+ support
The Dell Networking N2000 Series offers the option of up to 48
Enhanced Power over Ethernet (PoE+) ports. This way, you can
connect devices with higher power requirements (up to 30.8 watts)
without having to add another cable. PoE+ is especially useful in
older buildings; in such an environment, installing power supplies
at multiple locations that are far apart may not be possible
because of the high cost.

Designed for efficiency
Operating up to 113 °F (45 °C), the N2000 Series helps reduce
cooling costs and helps reduce operating costs. Features a variety

A common command line interface (CLI) and graphical user interface
(GUI) that use a common command language that experienced network
administrators can quickly become familiar with
USB auto-configuration feature allows network administrators to
quickly deploy mirrored configurations to multiple devices simply
by plugging in a USB stick
A range of enterprise-class features with familiar, intuitive
configuration and management commands
The latest open standards protocols and intelligent integration
