Description
Bronze is the earliest alloy in the history of metal smelting. The
addition of tin or lead to pure copper (red copper) has special
importance and historical significance. Compared with pure copper
(red copper), bronze has high strength and low melting point (25%).
The tin smelting bronze, the melting point will be reduced to 800 °
C. The melting point of pure copper (copper) is 1083 ° C). Bronze
has good castability, wear resistance and chemical stability.
1. Excellent carburizing quality. The surface quality is good, and
the surface of vacuum carburizing is not oxidized or decarburized,
which can maintain the original color of the metal; vacuum
carburizing does not produce internal oxidation (black structure),
which helps to improve the fatigue strength of the parts. These can
greatly improve the reliability and performance of the product.
2. The deformation of vacuum carburized parts is small. It can
reduce the amount of processing in the later stage and save the
processing cost. When the workpiece is heated, the heating speed is
controllable, which can reduce the deformation of the workpiece;
after the carburization is completed, the quenching method is
vacuum quenching, which greatly reduces the deformation of the
workpiece.
3. The depth of carburized layer is more uniform. Only after the
workpiece is heated to a uniform temperature, the carburizing gas
is introduced to ensure the synchronization of the initial
carburizing points of the large and small workpieces. The vacuum
has a purifying effect on the surface of the workpiece, which is
conducive to the adsorption of carbon atoms by the workpiece. Due
to the good uniformity of the depth of the carburized layer...
4. The surface carbon content is easy to control. The surface
carbon content does not need to be controlled by the carbon
potential, but can be controlled by controlling the carburizing
pressure and the carburizing gas flow.
