Stainless Steel Dished Ends Tank End Cap

Dished ends (also called tank heads, vessel head) is the end caps
on a cylindrical shaped pressure vessel which is made with carbon
steel, stainless steel and other alloy steel. The Pressure Vessel
Head is cold processed or hot-formed, seamless and stress treated,
these tank heads are widely used in industrial storage or pressure
vessels such as storage tanks, heat exchangers, towers, reactors,
boilers and separations equipment. Our high quality and innovative

Forming Method

The dished ends is generally overall forming and butt welding after
split forming.The overall forming is mainly formed by hot(stamping) forming and
cold(spinning) forming.
The butt welding after split forming is generally to split forming
and then butt welding.

Overall Forming
Cold forming, also known as cold spinning, the use of a spinning
machine at normal temperature for pressing. It is suitable for the
head with large diameter and small thickness.

Hot forming, also known as hot stamping, the steel plate is heated
to the specified temperature, the use of press and mold to
cooperate with the pressing molding. It is suitable for thick head.
