HNBR valve seat for wafer / lug / flange butterfly valve 1''-54''
Hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR)
1. Basic characteristics
1.1 Hydrogenated nitrile rubber, although saturated by hydrogenation, retains the properties of the original nitrile. It has tensile crystallinity and thus high strength.
1.2 Has good heat and ozone resistance, weather resistance and chemical and alkali resistance.
1.3 Swelling properties of good technical resistant liquids (including oils containing corrosive additives).
1.4 Good mechanical properties, even at temperature rise conditions.
1.5 Significant wear resistance under extremely hazardous conditions.
1.6 The vulcanizate has a higher tensile strength than nitrile rubber and neoprene, which is close to that of carboxylated nitrile rubber.
1.7 Excellent acid-resistant (hydrogen sulfide) environment and resistance to amine/oil mixtures, as well as resistance to oxidizing fuels and lubricants.
1.8 Glass transition temperature Tg with hydrogenation degree between -15- -40 °C, brittle temperature -50 °C.
2. Scope of application: Due to its unique performance, it is widely used in the fields of oilfield industry, automobile industry, aircraft manufacturing industry and construction industry, such as manufacturing drilling pipe, drilling tube protection layer, accumulator, automobile fuel and lubrication. Gaskets, O-rings, seals, etc. are used in systems and engines.
The butterfly valve seal is an essential component for blocking all
three potential leakage paths: the sealing of pipes, flanges and
operating shafts, in shut-off valves, flap valves and disk valves.
In their materials and design, they must be configured optimally
for the respective application.
Sealing solutions from our factory offer a precisely calibrated
material quality and torque-reducing geometries. On one hand, they
allow the flap to close with a low expenditure of force. On the
other hand, they nonetheless feature a high pressing action for
excellent sealing.
Free of both dead space and the penetration of contamination, the
designs make possible hygienic applications for the food and
beverage industry.
We can offer the FDA foodgrade rubber for your application.
