Dry bulk liners / Bulk Liners (Liner bags for standard 20' or 40' containers for dry bulk cargos)
Dry bulk liner — is elastic polymeric inner bag. It makes possible to use full standard 20’or 40’container as one big tare unit. Dry liner is installed in container prior to loading and load is accomplished with the aid of conveyor belt, by worm conveyor, by pneumatic machines or by other methods. It provides protection from the internal surface of container, from moisture and different pollution. Liner bag gives essential savings of time and cost in comparison with the bags or big-bags.
Bag capacity up to complete capacity of container = 33cmbs/20' and 67cmbs/40'
Weight of product depends on specific gravity/ density (but payload should not exceed 25 tons to avoid damaging container side walls with too much pressure)
Liner bags are suitable for different products + food as well as chemicals
It is single-time used, after unloading displaced and utilized (it weighs near 60kg)
It is installed in a special way inside container before loading
We provide liner bags together with installation for our customers
It is suitable for deliveries by railway without problems
Transpoprtation process in dry bulk liner,
No modification is required for container when using dry liner, it is enough to ensure container internal surfaces do not have sharp defects, seams or pieces which can damage dry liner. If any found, they can be easily removes with electrical metal cutter or these places can be isolated with light plastic sheets.
Loading container with dry liner can be performed with three basic ways:
Dry liner is installed inside container, traightened (opened) for the full size of container and fixed to the walls. Dry liner has a loading portal (about 30cm diameter) and sometimes it is connected to portal on bulkhead.
Pneumatic machine is connected to the portal and loading made with throwing product toward rear end of container.
Alternatively the conveyor can be placed inside container through loading portal which starts loading product beginning from rear end and moving toward front doors. If conveyor is not moving then product distrubution inside container can also be regulated with the truck, which moves forward from time to time during the loading process.
Upon loading complete the loading portal and door is closed. There are dry liners with one loading portal or also can be with 2 - loading and discharge portals.
Third way to load is when container with installed dry liner is placed vertically by special platform and product can be loaded from top through the doors opened. Upon loading complete the loading bay is closed tightly, bulkhead is placed in the doorway and container returned to horizontal position.
In case there is no possibility to see and measure the weight of product during the loading, then the weight can be also determined by weighing chassis with container before loading and respectively after. The difference in figures will be the weight of products.
