Depending on the desired performance characteristics (like stopping power, durability, noise reduction, and heat dissipation), the composition for the friction compound varies.

Backing Plate is designed to provide structural support and dissipation of the heat generated during braking. It is made out of metal and also provides the mounting surface so that brake pads can be installed securely within the brake caliper.

Some brake pads have a wear indicator mechanism, which is usually a small metal tab or groove on the pad. This wear indicator will contact the rotor when the pad material wears down. Clunkly, when this happens, a discernible squealing sound will be emitted, alerting the driver to replace their brake pads.

The brake pads are shipped via a reliable courier service. The shipping time varies depending on the destination. The customer will receive an email notification when the package is shipped, along with the estimated date of arrival.
