6. Logistics and warehousing planning

 

Logistics warehousing planning should be considered comprehensively in combination with process layout and production tempo, and should roughly follow the following principles:

 

(1) The size of the storage area should meet the basic inventory requirements. The basic inventory is generally not less than 2 hours of consumption. The area of the storage area should be calculated based on the total number of parts, the size of the parts station and equipment, and the number of frames to ensure that the area is not less than the area required for 2 hours of inventory.

 

(2) The storage area should be close to the logistics door of the workshop and the logistics channel of the factory area.

 

(3) In consideration of logistics efficiency and space saving, the width of logistics channels between welding lines is generally about 3m.

 

(4) Logistics channels must be reserved for all workstations that need to be loaded to ensure distribution space.

 

(5) The logistics direction cannot be opposite to the overall flow direction of the body.
