Innosilicon was founded in 2006 and has about 12 years of IP/IC design and development experience in the industry. Recently Innosilicon has started producing crypto mining equipment and has released different types of mining machines. These miners use a variety of algorithms such as secure Hash (SHA-256), Scrypt, X11, Equihash. Innosilicon launched and began shipping the A6 LTC Master in January 2018.

The A6 LTC Master is Innosilicon's dedicated integrated circuit (ASIC) hardware for mining the cryptocurrency litecoin. Released in January 2018, it has 1.23gh /s computing power and 1500W power consumption. Litecoin, which has a market capitalization of $2.56 billion, is popular for its user-friendly algorithms and faster transaction speeds.

Due to the recent demand for litecoin mining hardware, Innosilicon began to design and release dedicated integrated circuit (ASIC) mining machines specifically for litecoin mining. Innosilicon A6 LTC Master is part of the Miner.

The A6 LTC Master is equipped with the dual-fan system of most Innosilicon mining machines, with two front and rear fans for efficient cooling. Designed and looked like Innosilicon's A9 ZMaster series. The A6 LTC Master weighs approximately 7.5kg and measures 350 x 155 x 500mm.

The power supply has a switch and two power supply ports on the control board. This arrangement is easy for the user to control. The 4-pin connector sends current to the control panel, while the 6-pin connector supplies power to the four fans for cooling.

The compact design and easy operation make it ideal for different mining environments, especially in mines

A6 LTC Master is suitable for cryptographic mining based on Scrypt algorithms. The official parameters are 1.23Gh/s (+/ -8%) maximum computation power and 1500W (+/ -8%) power consumption at 25°C. Each double part of the mining machine has four hash plates sharing a controller. The mining machine controller can be seen from the above. Each power plate is equipped with two PCI-E 6PIN power supply interfaces and data cables.

The top controller from right to left is the data cable, the 4-pin power cord and the controller's power unit. On the back of the mining machine, the power interface of each power plate is at the top, and there are two cooling fans at the bottom for heat dissipation. Data lines are buckled to provide tight contact for stable data transmission and to prevent wear and tear.

Due to the high input and efficiency of the equipment, the cooling method is the basic feature of ASIC mining machine. Miners can overheat while working. Manufacturers such as Innosilicon curb overheating by equipping miners with adequate cooling methods. The A6 LTC Master has four 12cm 12C3.4A fans, two in the front and two in the back. This fan arrangement like the A9 ZMaster fan arrangement is very effective in reducing overheating.

The front fan handles the air intakes. Thanks to a high-speed fan, the A6 LTC Master dissipates heat efficiently with a relatively small temperature difference between front and rear. The indoor temperature is about 15℃ during the day and about 8℃ at night.

A6 LTC Master in stable mining mode, the average temperature of the calculating plate is about 39℃, and the air inlet temperature is about 20℃. The air outlet temperature is about 23℃.

A6 LTCMaster uses scripting algorithms. Litecoin is mined based on the Scrypt algorithm. Scrypt is a hash algorithm used for proof-of-work blockchains. It is an in-memory hard-key derived function. This process requires a lot of RAM for computation. This means that the ASIC chip used to calculate bitcoin SHA-256 Proof of Work (PoW) needs to reserve a certain amount of space for RAM, not hash capability.
