Additionally, the ET-PVS7 has a bright light cut-off feature to protect the image tube from sources of intense light, and a flip-up shut-off feature that can be used with the optional helmet mount system. The ET-PVS7 night vision goggles have proven themselves as a high performance NV device in detection, rescue and surveillance missions in extreme low-light conditions. This versatile system can be used as a handheld or hands-free goggles, or with an optional long-range Mil Spec Afocal Lens or compatible objective lenses that allow converting the ET-PVS7 goggles into a powerful NV viewer with 3.0x, or 5.0x, magnification, depending on the lens the device is paired with.
