This hybrid FC Male to SMA Female adapter inexpensively adapt connector interfaces to new equipment, upgrade distribution panels and eliminate the need to re-terminate cable assemblies. Fiber optic adapter, sometimes also called coupler, is a small device designed to terminate or link the fiber optic cables or fiber optic connectors between two fiber optic lines. These hybrid FC Male to SMA Female adapters change the existing SMA connector on your equipment into a regular FC connector.
