Comparision before and after grinding:
Tested the HP0 pump with the damaged plunger on test bench:
(Fails to build up pressure due to excessive return oil flow)
Examination after dismounting the plunger:
(There are irregular concave formed by erosion on the touching
surface with valve block)

So we use the grinding tool to try to fix it, and the plunger shows as below:
Examine the plunger after repair
(Watch with a magnifier, the sealing surface is smooth, all
the dents and erosion spots are recovered)
Then we test the HP0 pump on test bench:
(Pressure of fuel pump set up, return oil flow goes back to
normal)

Of course the grinding tool only able to fix the slight damage to the plunger.
