The main process parameters of producing molded parts includes:
1. The cylinder temperature:
Melting temperature is very important, the shot material cylinder
temperature is only guidance. Melt temperature can measure at the
nozzle or the use of air injection method to measure. Shot of
cylinder temperature setting depends on the melt temperature, screw
speed, back pressure, feed rate and injection cycle. If you have no
experience in processing a particular level of plastic, please
start with low setting. In order to facilitate control, shot
material cylinder points area, but not all are set to the same
temperature. If the operation time is long or operating at high
temperature, please set the temperature of the first area to lower
values, this will prevent premature plastic melt and shunt. Before
the start of injection molded parts, to ensure that the hydraulic
oil, hopper closure, molds and material cylinder are at the correct
temperature.
2. Melt Temperature:
Melt temperature on the melt fluidity can play a major role,
because the plastic does not have a specific melting point,
so-called melting point is a melting state of the temperature
section, plastic molecular chain structure and composition is
different, therefore, the influence of its fluidity is also
different, rigid molecular chain by temperature is more obvious,
such as PC, PPS, and flexible molecular chain such as: PA, PP, PE
and other liquidity by changing the temperature is not obvious, so
should be based on different materials to adjust the reasonable
temperature injection parts.
3. Mold Temperature:
Some plastic materials due to crystallization of high temperature,
crystallization speed is slow, the need for higher mold
temperature, some because of control size and deformation, or
demoulding needs, to higher temperature or lower temperature, such
as PC general requirements of more than 60 degrees, and PPS in
order to achieve a better appearance and improve liquidity, mold
temperature sometimes need more than 160 degrees, so the mold
temperature to improve the appearance of products, deformation,
size, plastic mold has an impact on the evaluation.
4. Injection pressure:
Melt to overcome the necessary resistance to advance, directly
affect the size of the product, weight and deformation, and
different plastic products required injection pressure, for like
PA, pp and other materials, increase the pressure will make its
liquidity significantly improved, injection pressure size
determines the product density, that is, the appearance of gloss.
