The detection of sex hormones usually includes six parts, the specific items and normal values are as follows:
1. Serum testosterone, male is 12-34nmol/L, female is
0.4-3.6nmol/L;
2. Serum estradiol, also known as estrogen, is 0.11-0.26pmol/L for
men and 0.13-3.15pmol/L for women;
3. Serum prolactin is less than 20μg/L for men and 40-50μg/L for
women;
4. Serum follicle stimulating hormone, 1-5U/L for males and 1-9U/L
for females;
5. The serum luteinizing hormone is 0-25U/L for men, and varies
with the ovulation cycle for women. It is 2-15U/L before
ovulation, 30-100U/L during ovulation, and 4-10U/L after ovulation. Non-ovulation period is 5-25U/L;
6. Female progesterone is 0-4.8nmol/L before ovulation and
7.6-97.6nmol/L after ovulation.
| 1 | Testosterone | usually in the range of 0.5-2.6nmol/L. If the testosterone value is high, it may cause hypertestosteroneemia and cause female infertility; |
| 2 | Estradiol | 18.35-110.1pmol/L before puberty, 92-275pmol/L in follicular phase, 734-2200pmol/L in ovulation period; |
| 3 | LH | usually 2.12-10.89mU/ml in the follicular phase, 19.18-103.03mU/ml in the ovulation phase, 1.20-12.86mU/ml in the luteal phase, and 10.87-58.64mU/ml in the postmenopausal phase; |
| 4 | Follicle stimulating hormone | the normal value is 5-40mlU/ml, the ovulation period is about 20mlU/ml, and the luteal phase value is 1.5-10mlU/ml; |
| 5 | Prolactin | the normal value of prolactin is below 20ug/L; |
| 6 | Progesterone | 0.2-1.5 μg/L in the follicular phase, 0.8-3.0 μg/L in the ovulation phase, 1.7-27 μg/L in the luteal phase, and 0.1-0.8 μg/L in the postmenopausal phase. |
