Maritime Security Barrier Floating Barrier For Resisting Terrorism
Maritime Security Barrier Application
Maritime security barrier is designed to stop the invasion of the ships such as FIAC, BBIED, multiple ships and groups attack, heavy tonnage vessels at low speed, low tonnage vessels at high speed, and the intruder at full speed before, during and after impact. Besides that, the PSB-T barrier system is able to stop attacks on naval bases, ships, military-strategic ammunition and fuel depots, nuclear ships/submarines, and military facilities.
Maritime Security Barrier Classification
Type | Ultimate stopping energy | Working stopping energy |
PSB 5500 | 9.09M ft lbf/12.33 MJ | 5.49M ft lbf/7.44 MJ |
PSB600 | 5.90M ft lbf/7.99 MJ | 2.49 ft lbf/3.37 MJ |
PSB-T | 5.90M ft lbf/7.99 MJ | 3.70M ft lbf/5.01 MJ |
Maritime Security Barrier Structural System
1. The unit length of maritime security barrier is available of 40
ft (12.2m) or 50 ft (15.24m).
2. The pontoon is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) which is
resistant to corrosion and UV.
3. The netting is connected to a galvanized steel beam that extends
from one pontoon to the next.
4. Type and size of anchor can be selected according to engineering
requirements.
5. Coastal connections and underground anchors are designed to
accommodate large fluctuations in dam levels and ocean tidal
cycles, large ocean currents.
6. Interchangeable parts and connections.
7. Gate system is customized upon client's request.
Maritime Security Barrier Features
Maritime security barrier is durable and stable, because that the thickness and diameter of HDPE pontoon make sure the structural strength is strong enough to withstand the weight of the heavy steel beam and netting to stop the high-energy boat. Besides that, maritime security barrier is easy to operate and maintain, it saves labor cost and time. It is designed to be a simple structure and lightweight with relatively low wind, current, and wave loading energy.
