The principle of measuring speed is the frequency DoppIer effect generated by radar based on the relative motion between itself and the target. The target echo frequency received by the radar is different from the radar emission frequency, the difference between the two is called Doppler frequency. One of the main information that can be extracted from the DoppIer frequency is the rate of change of the distance between the radar and the target. When the target and the interference clutter exist in the sane spatial resolution unit of the radar at the same time, the radar uses the difference in DoppIer frequency between them to detect and track the target from the interference clutter. The principle of measuring the azimuth of the target is to use the sharp azimuth beam of the antenna to measure the elevation beam with a narrow elevation angle, so that the target height can be caIcuIated according to the elevation angles and the distance.
The principle of measuring distance is to measure the time
