Wood cooking equipment
The reason why the wood should be cooked is mainly because the
color of the wood can be changed after cooking; the color
difference between the core and sapwood of the wood can be reduced;
the luster of the wood can be maintained; the gradient difference
of the initial moisture content of the wood can be alleviated; the
probability of the occurrence of wood drying defects can be
reduced; at the same time, it is not easy to crack after cooking,
which also helps to prevent corrosion and moth.
The purpose of cooking is to soften the wood, increase the
plasticity and moisture content of the wood, reduce the cutting
resistance during planing, and remove the oil, tannin and other
extracts from a part of the wood.
