3000 Drum Twister with Steel Armoring

 

2.Application 

The line is used for laying-up of large section, long length power cables. The line is for laying-up of pre-spiral (sector shape)or non-pre-spiral (round shape)cable cores. The line is used for steel wires armoring of power cables, too.

4.3Sector Position Detector:

4.3.1

Sector position detector is of integrated type for detecting the position of each individual sector cable core, there are 5 sector position detectors mounted on a fixed plate, each sector position detector is composed by one pair of rotatable sector-shaped compression rollers, sector-shaped compression rollers compress onto sector cable core, rotates along with sector cable core, detecting the position of sector cable core.

4.4Three Row Cables Assembly Die Set:

Three-row wire die stand consists of a die plate and two forward/backward movable die set, using for laying-up of power cables.

4.5Rotating Die Set:

The rotating die set equips with a 1.5KW motor which driven a rotatable dies set and rotating synchronously with rotating take-up, use for steel wire armoring process.

Main transmission, taping heads, haul-off caterpillar, pay off stands, take-up stand of the line are using AC motor of frequency inverter control. Frequency inverters are DANFOSS. Speed tracking is by grating encoder. Line control is managed by SIEMENS PLC. Synchronous rotation of rotating pay-offs and take-up is guaranteed. SIEMENS touch screen for setting and display the line production parameters.

5. Main Features

The line is control by PLC for regulating, starting, operation and synchronization of respective electric motors. Electrical control system is advanced, easy and reliable operation.

 

Independent motor driven is used for rotating pay-off stands, taping heads and belt caterpillar respectively, lay length is precision and stable. Independent motor driven rotating pay-off stands rotate synchronously with rotating take-up, can also rotate independently. Rotating take-up stand is supported by under rollers enhanced structure rigidity, reliability and stability of rotation. The line is provided with various protection measures and auto stop function if there is any fault, easy and reliable operation.
