WEEM 1128 1128 SIC SEGMENTED SANDING BLET is made from WEEM 1128 SIC YY-CLOTH ABRASIVE as sectional belt, or segmented belt. WEEM 1128 SIC YY-CLOTH ABRASIVE offers an economical way to make segmented belts for the panel industry. Everything that required for the panel sanding, such as the right backing to sustain cross-direction strength, YY weight waterproof polyester backing is the best choice. It is a type of cloth backing provided both stiffness strength and tensile strength, the idea for sectional belt requirement—the antistatic treatment made on the backing to delay or prevent loading problems.

A careful selection of silicon carbide is selected. Silicon carbide is a tough and crystal structure that produces fine straight-edged grind lines. It is superior for its ability to penetrate with light cutting pressures. SiC is excellent for panel sanding, with a closed coated technique bond on the backing to ensure the grinding and durable needs. A closed coat product has a higher number of abrasive cutting points per square inch and results in a higher stock removal rate and a long time before the abrasive wears out. Usually results in a better finish.
