EPDM is a synthetic rubber product developed according to customer
needs. Relying on its unique compound composition and compression
molding process, the diaphragm is able to maintain its physical
properties for a long time under minimal water pressure, is
tear-resistant, and retains its shape after years of cyclic
operations, producing microscopic bubbles. Our EPDM membrane
products have been proven in a variety of municipal and industrial
wastewater treatment applications with excellent results. However,
standard EPDM is not recommended for use in applications where
solvents, oils, or greases and high concentrations of metal salts
are present.
Produced by compression molding process, the specific gravity and
thickness are uniform. Resistant to pulling in multiple directions
and resistant to changes in diaphragm material properties. High
elastic coefficient, appropriate taper can reduce unit pressure,
low pressure loss, high dissolution efficiency and long service
life.
There is no hole in the center area of the diaphragm. After the
aeration system is turned off, the diaphragm will fall back to the
base and become airtight. The entire diaphragm surface allows good
air passage. The membrane is resistant to clogging and is at least
70% hydrophilic.
The maximum elongation at break is 700%, which is suitable for the
process of cyclic opening and closing operations. It can still
maintain its shape and produce fine bubbles during long-term
operation.

Especially when working with low gas volume, this characteristic can still be exerted, and operation and management are convenient.
4 Resistant to aging and corrosion. The spherical crown-shaped aeration diaphragm is made of high-quality rubber, and the supporting tray and wedge-shaped insert plate are evenly made of engineering plastics. These materials have excellent physical and mechanical properties. It has excellent aging resistance and is resistant to chemical corrosion such as acids, alkali and chemicals.
5. The resistance loss is small. Due to the aerator's unique anti-blocking and waterproof backflow properties, the check valve attached to the flat micropore aerator is eliminated, thereby reducing the resistance of the aerator. Energy consumption is saved.
