System Overview
The surface quality of the sheet is one of the important indicators of product quality, and it is also an expression of many product defects. The necessity and importance of its detection are self-evident. Surface defects have many manifestations and complex sources. Detection and identification technology is the key technology for surface defect detection. Its manifestations include three types of defects, line defects and surface defects, such as pitting (pits), peeling, cracks, inclusions, lack of meat, pressing objects, oxidation, acid stains, water stains, stains, scratches, waves, etc. species; it comes from raw materials, production process, transportation and storage.


This system can detect the surface defects of the plate, and mark the over-limit area and defect area on the plate. It is a successful application of vision technology in the field of metal and non-metal plate inspection.

 

Inspection principle
The KEYE TECH machine vision inspection method is to select a single or multiple industrial line camera scanning method to obtain images, and perform fast algorithm processing on the images to accurately detect defects and identify and classify them, while achieving accurate length and width measurement (visual image method). ), and finally displayed in a suitable way.


System Components
The detection system is composed of a detection line for plate loading and unloading and motion control, an image acquisition system, a data processing system and an operating console. The image acquisition system consists of a camera (including a lens), a light source, a mounting bracket, a motion system, and a plate displacement measurement mechanism. The plate displacement measuring mechanism accurately measures the displacement of the plate in real time, providing the basis for the camera to take pictures and image positioning.

 

Conveyor line and layout

  • The plate inspection system is mainly composed of three functional equipments: the feeding roller table section, the detection section and the disengaging roller table section.
  • The feeding roller section is widely adapted to various incoming materials, and the incoming method can be based on the existing methods adopted by the equipment user;
  • The detection section is mainly composed of frame body, roller table supporting equipment, ranging sensor, linear motor, slider drive assembly, industrial camera, light source components, protective components, etc.;
  • The detection section centrally completes the length detection, width detection, thickness detection, and defect detection of the upper and lower surfaces of the titanium plate to be tested (including pits, lack of meat, air bubbles, peeling, cracks, etc.).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Software system
The software system includes subsystems such as interface, system monitoring, detection control, data processing, storage and retrieval. After inputting or selecting the length, width, thickness and other data of the plate to be inspected through the interface, the system automatically calculates and outputs the motion control parameters. After starting the inspection, the system automatically completes the entire inspection process of plate motion control, thickness inspection, image acquisition, and data processing. 


The system monitoring part realizes system self-inspection and real-time monitoring of the working status of each equipment. The data processing part includes position calculation of thickness measurement points, image splicing, calculation of length and width (based on the complete image of the spliced sheet), surface defect finding and classification algorithms, etc.
