Inspection details

The system uses pattern matching and color recognition to determine whether a package has the correct number and type of tablets. Check the number of pills in the package and the color of each pill, and issue an alarm or reject unqualified packages. The design of the image acquisition device is as follows:

The capsules to be tested are poured into the blanking port. When the capsules are placed on the turntable from the entrance, the turntable is responsible for separating the capsules one by one and placing them in the capsule slot. At this time, the conveyor chain is in a state of continuous rotation. Since the photoelectric sensor will detect the rotation of the conveyor chain, the light source will stroboscopically illuminate the capsule when it passes through the designated conveyor position. At this time, the industrial camera will also start to capture the capsule image, transfer the collected image data to the memory of the PC, and use the capsule detection system installed on the PC to determine the defects of the capsule image. When the judgment result of the capsule is defective, it will output an air blow signal, and the capsule with the problem will be driven into the unqualified capsule waiting box, and the capsules that pass the inspection will enter the qualified waiting box.

Algorithm analysis of capsule detection: After the capsule is filled by the filling machine, the capsule body and the capsule cap are in good agreement. During the detection process, the capsule may be damaged and surface wear due to human factors, machine failure, stack pressure and other factors. . According to the degree of damage and wear, the system must remove those capsules that are damaged or more worn, and those damaged or worn capsules that are less damaged or worn but invisible to the human eye can be regarded as qualified capsules to reduce the production process. losses in.
