Where is the ultrasonic booster used?

 

It is connected between the converter and horn.

 

How does the ultrasonic booster work?

 

To provide an amplitude change, the ultrasonic booster will have different diameters on either side of its center. A smaller diameter at the end attached to the horns means the ultrasonic amplitude increase. A greater diameter at the end attached to the horns means the ultrasonic amplitude decrease, totally, the ultrasonic booster will help enlarge the ultrasonic vibration amplitude and amplify the welding power during the vibration.
