Description:


Ultrasonic welding of non-ferrous metals (such as copper and aluminum) is a proven welding technology in the industry that has been tested for many years. Ultrasonic welding is extremely fast and takes only 1 to 3 seconds, depending on the size of the welded joint. Compared to other welding processes, when using ultrasonic welding technology, the joints heat up less and therefore do not reach their melting point. This gives it many advantages not found in other connectivity technologies. It also does not damage other materials nearby, such as wire insulation. These include simple wire and busbar connections, wire and contact soldering in the automotive and electronics fields, and special applications for enamel winding wires, films and sheets, and in the transition to solid materials, the joints do not embrittle. . The higher welding strength is produced by the relaxation process of the first two atomic layers of the component to be welded. The welding method is similar to diffusion welding and has a wide variety of applications in the metal field.

The welding head and the horn are designed as a half-wavelength resonator with an operating frequency.
