The consequence of this is that the timing belt will overheat, become hard and break, which will damage the cylinder, piston, and valve. Cause a serious mechanical accident. The cost of replacing the timing kit for a general car is not very high, and it is acceptable to replace it once about 10 km. This is a non-repeatability test---that is, no one [normally] takes the risk because they want to know exactly what their use limit is. The result is not worth the loss.
