GSJ HBTS Hydraulic Cylinder PTFE 80 Shore Sealing O Rings
Custom Made Best Quality Mechanical Hydraulic Cylinder Internal
Sealing O Rings Oil And High Temperature Resistance
The O-shaped rubber sealing ring is composed of a low-friction
filled polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) ring and an O-shaped rubber
sealing ring. The O-ring provides sufficient sealing pre-tightening
force and compensates for the wear of the PTFE ring. The friction
coefficient of PTFE is small, and the dynamic and static friction
coefficients are similar.
Suitable for high and low speed reciprocating motion and high
pressure system cylinder piston rod sealing. Two stepped ring seals
are used to achieve zero leakage.
1. Features of O-type rubber sealing ring:
1. Convenient installation Since the structure of the O-shaped
rubber sealing ring itself and the installation part are extremely
simple and standardized, it is very easy to install and replace.
2. The structure is simple, the sealing performance is good, the
cross-section structure of the O-type rubber sealing ring is
extremely simple, and it has a self-sealing effect, and the sealing
performance is reliable.
3. Wide range of application. Through the selection of appropriate
rubber materials and appropriate formulation design, an effective
sealing effect on oil, water, air, gas and various chemical media
is achieved. The temperature range is wide (-60℃~+220℃), and the
pressure can reach 1500Kg/cm2 in fixed use (used with the
reinforcing ring).
4. Rich variety of materials suitable for various purposes, with
standardized dimensions and grooves.
Application range of O-type rubber sealing ring:
O-type rubber seals are widely used in the sealing of diesel
locomotives, automobiles, tractors, engineering machinery, machine
tools and various hydraulic and pneumatic components. They can bear
the sealing of fixed, reciprocating and rotating movements. In the
sealing of mechanical products, O-type rubber seals Accounted for
more than 50%.

Product specifications
There are several factors to consider when choosing the correct
O-ring in a hydraulic system. The size of the O-ring is determined
by the inner diameter, outer diameter and cross section. The inner
diameter and outer diameter are the distance from the center of the
O-ring to the inner and outer rings of the O-ring. O-rings have a
wide range of inner and outer diameters, ranging from a few
millimeters to one meter or more. When selecting the inner diameter
of the O-ring, some space needs to be reserved to solve the thermal
expansion problem.
The O-ring stretch rate should not exceed 5%, because excessive
stretching will cause the cross-section of the O-ring to become
flat. The O-ring cross section has a small range of variation,
ranging from a few millimeters to tens of millimeters. When
selecting O-rings for hydraulic applications, it is very important
to understand the depth of the groove. Only when the cross-section
of the O-ring is selected is correct, in order to avoid extrusion
and tearing problems and ensure the sealing effect.
material
O-rings are available in a variety of materials, including nitrile
rubber (NBR), ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), fluorine
rubber (FKM), silicone rubber (VMQ), etc.
Nitrile rubber (NBR) has excellent hydraulic oil resistance and can
be used in a temperature range of -35°C to +120°C. It is a
copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile. As the content of
butadiene increases, it is more resistant to hydraulic oil, but its
elasticity becomes worse. Although nitrile rubber is less resistant
to ozone, ultraviolet light or weather, it has excellent
compression set resistance, tear resistance and abrasion
resistance. O-rings machined from nitrile rubber are usually the
best choice for hydraulic applications.
O-rings processed by EPDM rubber have excellent heat resistance,
water resistance, steam resistance, ozone resistance and UV
resistance. It is very effective in sealing phosphate ester
hydraulic oil and can replace nitrile rubber under certain
application conditions.
Fluorine rubber (Viton®) O-rings have extremely high temperature
resistance, grease resistance, fuel resistance, silicone oil
resistance and resistance to many other media, making them very
suitable for aviation applications. Increasing the fluorine content
in FKM will increase the chemical resistance, but the low
temperature resistance will decrease. Fluorine rubber can be used
with non-flammable hydraulic fluids, and in some cases is a
suitable choice for hydraulic applications.
Silicone rubber (VMQ) has good ozone and weather resistance, as
well as good cold flexibility and high heat resistance, but it is
easily affected by superheated steam. Silicone rubber O-rings have
relatively low tensile and tear strength and are easy to wear.
Although many properties are excellent, they are usually not used
for processing into hydraulic O-rings.
