Productuon Description

Thermal break is a reinforced polyamide strip (a non metallic, composite, structural, material) fixed between the inside and outside profiles, creating an insulated barrier within the window frame. The polyamide strip is a material of low thermal conductivity which will minimise the transfer of heat and cold through the window frame, resulting in improved energy efficiency. The polyamide strip will have a HUGE impact in reducing transfer of heat and cold over typical non-thermal profiles. These sections can be anodised or powdercoated to withstand the harsh Australian climate, including UV damage and salt corrosion.

 

The thermal performance of windows is affected by the interior environment of the building, external weather conditions, and the way the window is installed. Glass choices and glazing options have a significant impact on thermal performance as well. In addition, window frame modifications can be made. These "thermally improved" frames incorporate one or more thermal breaks, also known as thermal barriers.

Packing & Storage & Delivery

Packing details:

For all shapes, they could be packaged in linear, the length will be 6 meters or customized.

For some simple shapes, like 'I' shape and 'C' shape, they can be packed in rolls. We usually pack them in 400-600 meters per roll. 

Storage details:

Keep it horizontal in a ventilated and dry environment, pay attention to waterproof, stay away from heat source, avoid stress and minimize bending.
