Problem cause: the main factor that causes oil seal leak
Lax oil seal is the main cause of oil leakage.
When the shaft is worn and grooves are formed, even if the new oil
seal is replaced, it is because the contact pressure between the
lip of the oil seal and the shaft drops, resulting in too little
interference between the lip of the oil seal and the shaft diameter
after installation.
Taking S195 diesel engine crankshaft oil seal as an example, the
main reasons for its loose seal are analyzed as follows:
(1) Poor quality of oil seal manufacturing;
(2) poor quality of shaft or bearing;
(3) Improper use and maintenance;
