Features

 

Starlight natural gas (associated gas) generators can be used on all electrical and mechanical rigs and workovers, ranging from 400hp to 3000hp. Besides drilling rigs and workovers, our gas generators are also widely used in oil and gas production, powering sucker rod pumps, ESPs, fracturing pumps, living quarters of oil & gas fields.

Engine Control System & Alternator

Close-loop lean burn engine managing system is applied which includes single cylinder independent spark, electric speed regulation system, fuel close loop control system, environment adaptability system, automatic diagnosis and protection system to ensure precise and reliable operation of the engine in all working conditions. The systems satisfy all economical efficiency, power and emission requirements. Furthermore, according to the actual application situation, working conditions and exact fuel compositions, we optimized the whole engine and engine control system for its best performances.
 

Mecc Alte ECO38 AC brushless synchronous alternator and specially designed motion parts are used to endure load shock and interference and ensure the equipment’s long term stability and reliability.

1. Adaptability & Flexibility

 

Unique design of Electrical Control System enables our gas generators to use various gaseous fuel and be used in almost all complicated applications. Our generators can be fed by LNC, CNG, LPG, Biogas, CBM, Syngas etc. The generators are used in power plants, oil & gas fields (either for drilling or production), factories, commercial or governmental buildings, LNG plants, alcohol factories, landfills, poultry farms etc. Our gas engines are also widely used in various vehicles, such as buses, trucks, boats and so on. Our generators and engines can also be tailor made according to client’s fuel and working conditions.

 

2. Reliability & Dependability

 

Starlight design and development of gas engines based on excellent diesel engine platforms and the excellent platforms combined with cutting-edge control system end with outstanding performance and reliability. Some of our generators have reached the record of more than 30,000 hours without overhaul.

The intellectual lean-burn control technology makes average exhaust temperature at 530℃, which noticeably minimizes the thermal load of piston and air valve and the reliability of such components are greatly improved. Strong and weak electricity are designed to be separated, which avoid control interference, and in terms improve the reliability of the electrical components.

The unique design of engine combustor makes complete combustion and effectively reduces the harmful gases such as NOx in the exhaust. Our engine can achieve the world most strict emission standard.

With advanced system integration solutions and unique design, the usage of the lean-burn control technology achieves higher fuel efficiency, and save up to 15% fuel than other gas generators on the same power capacity.
