Product Description

What is steel structure building?
It is a new type of building system, can be through the real estate industry, construction industry, metallurgical industry, set into a new industrial system, this is the industry generally optimistic steel building system.

Steel structure building includes primary members, secondary members, and the cover sheeting connected to each other. The structural members are custom designed to be lighter in weight as well as high in strength. Steel frame structure building can be fitted with different structural additions like truss, mezzanine floor, canopy, crane system, windows and doors as per user requirements.
At present, the application of steel structure architecture is becoming more and more mature, and it has gradually become the mainstream construction technology, which is the development direction of future architecture.

 

Product Specification

The main structural components of a steel structure building include:

1. Primary Frame
Main steel frame is mainly composed of steel beams, steel columns, steel trusses and other components made of section steel and steel plate, and adopts rust removal and anti-rust process such as shot blasting, painting and galvanizing. Welding, bolts or rivets are usually used to connect each member or component.
2. Secondary Framing (Bracing, Z and C section purlin)
Secondary members connect the main frame and help in resisting part of the longitudinal loads that are applied on the building such as wind and earthquake loads.
Steel purlin is available in 1.8 mm. 2.0 mm, 2.2 mm, 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm thickness. The purlin come with a galvanized sheet.
Column bracing is a connecting member set between two adjacent columns to ensure the overall stability of the building structure, improve lateral stiffness and transfer longitudinal horizontal force.
3. Roof and Wall Cladding System
Steel sheet, its base sheet is usually be galvanized sheet or aluminium zinc sheet with organic coating. It has the advantages of good corrosion resistance, bright color, beautiful appearance, convenient processing and forming, and has the original strength of the steel plate and low cost.
Sandwich panel is composite insulation panel made by two sides steel sheet and heat insulated core material through binder (or foam). The core can be EPS (polystyrene ), fiberglass wool, rock glass wool and PU (polyurethane).

In single storey buildings, H section steel beams provide clear spans of over 50 meters. Trussed or grid steel construction can extend this to 150 meters.

Steel structure building can be assembled quickly and efficiently in all seasons. Components are fabricated off site with minimal on-site labour.
Lighter and less impacting on the environment. Steel structures can be significantly lighter and require less extensive foundations, reducing the environmental impact of the build.

 

Steel Structure Building Application

Types of steel structure building:
1. Portal frame structures

Portal frame structures are traditional structural system. The main frame includes rigid frame beams, rigid frame columns, supports, purlins, tie rods, etc. The portal steel frame has the characteristics of simple force, clear force transmission path, fast component production, convenient factory processing, and short construction period, so it is widely used in industrial, commercial and other buildings, such as warehouse, workshop, factory, plant.
2. Frame structures

Frame structures refer to the structure in which beams and columns are connected to form a load-bearing system, that is, a frame composed of beams and columns jointly resists horizontal and vertical loads during use. The wall of the frame structure building is not load-bearing and only plays the role of enclosure and separation. It is mostly used in office, mall, exhibition hall, etc.
3. Light steel structures

Light steel structures usually refer to the structure welded by round tube, small angle steel, square tube and C section purlin, etc.. The advantages are low cost, high degree of factory production, small on-site installation workload, beautiful appearance, wide internal space, high construction area and space utilization.

Product Processing

The main processes of steel structure components in the workshop are:

1. Cutting
Steel components, such as beams, columns, and plates, are precisely cut to the required dimensions using advanced cutting techniques, such as Automatic laser cutting machine, to ensure accurate fitment during assembly.
2. Assemble
The cut steel pieces are fitted together according to engineering drawings and specifications.
3. Welding
Welders employ various welding techniques, to join the steel components securely. Welding creates strong and resilient connections, enhancing load-bearing capacity.
4. Rust removal
Before surface treatment, any rust or scale on the steel surfaces must be removed. Techniques like sandblasting, shot blasting, or chemical cleaning are used to eliminate corrosion, creating a clean and smooth surface.
5. Surface treatment
Spray painting or hot-dip galvanizing according to customer's requirements, so that the surface is not corroded.
