1.5″ Composite Deck Durable Floor Decking rolling forming machine
1.5" composite metal deck requires less concrete but spans shorter distances than deeper composite metal decking. It is recommended to pour a minimum of 2" of concrete over the ribs of the deck for a total slab thickness of 3.5".
Metal Deck stocks and manufactures 1.5″ Composite Deck in 22, 20, 18, and 16 gauge. Typically 1.5″ Composite Deck is used for applications in outdoor flooring. Composite metal floor decking is metal floor deck with an embossment pattern manufactured into the sides (flutes) at regular intervals. The embossments allow the concrete to bond with the metal decking panel as the concrete cures.There are several options when it comes to composite metal floor decking. It is made up of different profiles, which each offer different values in strength. There are 3 different depths of Formlok Composite Metal Decks. Note: Because of the profile of the embossments, there is no gain in strength for the composite deck-slab when the deck gets thicker than 20 gage. However, the construction spans do get longer for 18 and 16 gage deck. So different with the roofing decking, Composite Deck with the embossing is necessary.
