Structure and performance characteristics of tube heat exchanger

 

Shell-and-tube heat exchanger, also known as tubular heat exchanger, is a general standard heat exchange equipment. It has the advantages of simple structure, robustness and durability, low cost, wide range of materials, convenient cleaning, strong adaptability, etc., and is the most widely used and occupies a dominant position in heat exchange equipment. Shell-and-tube heat exchangers are divided into the following types according to their structural characteristics.

 

The fixed tube-plate heat exchanger consists of a shell, a tube bundle, a head, a tube plate, a baffle plate, a nozzle and other components. The structural feature is that two tubesheet are welded to both ends of the shell, and both ends of the tube bundle are fixed on the tubesheet. The whole heat exchanger is divided into two parts: the channel in the heat exchange tube and its two ends are called the pipe; The channel outside the heat exchange tube and its connecting point are called the shell path. The cold and hot fluids flow continuously in the pipe path and the shell path respectively. The fluid flowing through the pipe path is called the pipe (pipe path) fluid, and the fluid flowing through the shell path is called the shell (shell path) fluid.
