We are one of the largest engineering piping product suppliers in China, our products include steel pipes/pipes, pipe fittings, flanges. After more than 20 years of development, we have accumulated many customers all over the world, and Yuhong products have also won unanimous praise from customers.
AS4087 is the latest standard for BS Tables D to H, using the same drill holes but with a new PN pressure rating system. The flange thickness has increased slightly due to the new pressure rating being slightly higher. Also, the convex dimensions (though rarely specified, mostly flat surfaces are used) are slightly larger. Tables C, J to R, no longer exist, PN16 is drilled the same as Table D, PN21 is the same as Table E, and PN35 is the same as Table H.
This AS 4087 flange standard specifies requirements for circular flanges made of copper alloys, grey cast iron, ductile iron or steel. The outer shape of the flange can also be any other shape. It covers the nominal dimensions of PN 14, PN 16, PN 21 and PN 35 for pressure ratings up to an operating temperature of 80°C. The standard also specifies requirements for joining materials. Flanges are suitable for pipes, fittings, valves and other accessories primarily used to transport or store water or waste water. NOTE: For applications beyond the limits specified in this standard, appropriate flange details can be determined from AS 2129 Series, Flanges for pipes, valves and fittings and AS/NZS 4331 Series, Metal flanges.

Corrosion resistance
Chromium, molybdenum, nickel and nitrogen all contribute to overall resistance to corrosion by various media. Chromium is the primary agent for imparting corrosion resistance in neutral or oxidizing environments. Chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen increase resistance to pitting corrosion. Nickel imparts an austenitic structure. Both nickel and molybdenum provide higher resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking in reducing environments.
