Overview
ASTM B535 is a standard specification that covers the requirements for Nickel-Iron-Chromium-Silicon Alloys (UNS N08330 and UNS N08332) in the form of hot-worked, cold-worked, or annealed sheets, plates, bars, forgings, and seamless pipes.
The N08330 alloy is a high-nickel, high-chromium iron-based alloy, also known as Alloy 330 or Incoloy 330. Uses&Application
1>.Chemical Processing: N08330 is widely used in chemical

such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic
acid, and other corrosive chemicals.
2>.Petrochemical Processing: The alloy is utilized in
petrochemical plants for equipment and components exposed to highly
corrosive environments, including offshore platforms, reactors,
heat exchangers, and piping systems.
3>.Pollution Control: ASTM B535 UNS N08330 is employed
in exhaust gas desulfurization (FGD) systems, scrubbers, and other
pollution control equipment, where it offers excellent resistance
to sulfur compounds and acidic gases.
