ASTM A105 (ASME SA105) Carbon Steel Girth Flange Channel, Body Flange
YUHONG GROUP deal with stainless steel seamless pipe and tube already more than 33 years, every year sell more than 80000 tons of stainless steel seamless pipe and tube. Our client already cover more than 65 countries. Our stainless steel seamless pipe and tube was width used in Mining, Energy, Petrochemical, Chemical Industry, Food plant, Paper plant, Gas and Fluid Industry etc.
Overview
Girth flanges are used for mating two segments of a pressure vessel. These parts are also widely used in shell and tube heat exchangers and other process equipment to mate various components. There are two common kinds of girth flange such as welded hub joint, loose type (without hub).
Flange is the equipment which is used to connect to pipes, pumps and valves for piping system. There are different types of flanges such as blind flange, lap, joint, welded and many other. Carbon steel flanges are widely used in high demand due to its excellent features like corrosion resistance, excellent durability and finishing is good. These are used in industries like petrochemical, chemical, power, agriculture and many other.

Heat Treatment of ASTM A105 Flanges
Heat treatment isn't a mandatory necessity of ANSI A105 Flanges piping components. In any case, there are a few exemptions: ASME B16.5 flanges Class 400, Class 900, Class 1500, Class 2500; Flanges of extraordinary design where the plan pressure at the design temperature surpasses the pressure-temperature appraisals of Lesson 300; Ribs of extraordinary design where the design pressure or temperature are not known; Forged fittings or valve parts which are over 4" and Course 300.
