Typical applications of grade 2205 stainless steels include the following:
for oil refining, fertilizer, paper, petroleum, chemical resistance, high temperature concentrated nitric seawater heat exchangers and cold shower unit and devices.Duplex 2205 duplex stainless steel alloy is 21% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum, and 4.5% of nickel, nitrogen alloyed stainless steel.
