supplies stainless channels in 304/304L and 316/316L. Larger channels in excess of 24″ can be manufactured utilizing laser fusion technology. Laser fused technology also enables engineers and metal buyers to mix thickness or even material grades. Laser fused channels can also be supplied in Duplex 2205 and lean Duplex 2101.
All channels can be cut to size. Stainless channels can be supplied with a polished finish. See below for information specific to channels. Also, see our Structural Products page for structural overview info, including manufacturing techniques.

Our Service
Beam and angle forming is a process used to bend an iron to a specific degree or angle.Typically beam forming differs from angle iron rolling, in that it is more concerned with forming the angle iron to a specific angle or degree, rather than a curve or radius. Beam forming processes use applied force to a piece of sheet metal to modify its geometry rather than remove any material, often using a die to create specific shapes (ie I Beams, Tees, etc). The applied force stresses the metal beyond its yield strength, causing the material to deform, but not to fail. By doing so, the sheet can be bent or stretched into a variety of complex shapes.
In some cases, it may be necessary to complete additional positive material identification testing. Penn Stainless Products can complete this testing in house or we can work with an independent laboratory to complete the testing. Please contact us for specific requirements.
