AMS 5734J Stainless Steel Flat Bar UNS S66286 Forgings
Describe
A precipitation hardening stainless steel, NAS 660 (SUH 660, UNS
S66286), retains excellent strength at high temperatures up to
700°C, surpassing austenitic stainless steels. NAS 660 has a higher
nickel content than Type 304 and also includes elements such as
titanium and aluminum for hardening. Age hardening is used to
precipitate the γ' phase [Ni3 (Al, Ti)], making it a very strong
metal at high temperatures.
