1. General Introduction:
When the decal printing was popular in the early time, it also use
the decal stickers on the glass, but the effect is not obvious. In
the 1970's, glass manufacturers developed the float glass process,
and soon thereafter, screen printing became the most common glass
decoration technique. Screen printing is a viable option for many
of the applications today because it can apply relatively thick ink
deposits (full surface or image) ranging from 5 to 60 microns
(thicker deposits are often required for opacity/ privacy or
electronic security purposes.
SI-PET 1500 provide just the right mesh specification for every
screen printing application, ranging from very coarse to ultra-fine
in different widths(up to 3.7meters), available in both yellow and
white fabrics.
Recommend specifications:
Construction Glass Printing:Dimensionally stable,high tension/low
elongation mesh,like SS PET 1500,is recommended for printing
construction glass.
Super Wide Mesh is the ideal fabric for stencils having a wide of
more than 4m.
Decoration Glass Printing:Mesh line is typically larger than
0.15mm, yellow meshes are preferred.
