Description
The main function of the excavator's water tank is to dissipate heat, thereby reducing the temperature of the engine.
From the point of view of the structural principle, if the
temperature of the excavator engine is very high, the thermostat
will be turned on, and the water pump will pump water repeatedly,
which will reduce the temperature of the excavator engine (the
composition of the water tank is a There are hollow copper tubes,
high temperature water enters the water tank and is air-cooled and
circulated into the engine water channel) to protect the engine.
The main water tank also has an auxiliary water tank. The function
of this auxiliary water tank is that when the engine water
temperature rises, the water in the water tank will flow into the
auxiliary water tank due to thermal expansion and contraction,
until the temperature drops, the water will Flow into the water
tank again, this process will not cause water shortage. When the
water tank is short of water, the cooling capacity of the engine
will be greatly reduced, and the ultimate goal of protecting the
engine will be difficult to achieve. When this phenomenon occurs,
it is necessary to check whether the auxiliary water tank is
damaged or leaking.
Due to long-term work, scale will form in the water tank, which
will reduce the heat dissipation capacity of the water tank to a
certain extent, resulting in high temperature of the engine,
suffoion of the engine and even boiling of the water. In this way,
the engine is often injured, so we have to work every time. Check
the heat dissipation capacity of the water tank, or replace it with
the original pure antifreeze. The cooling effect of antifreeze is
much better than that of water, and it is not easy to produce
scale. It is necessary to use regular antifreeze. Do not mix water
and antifreeze. , will increase the risk of tank clogging. If the
water tank fails to dissipate heat properly, it is time to clean
the water tank.
We turn on the drain switch of the radiator and unscrew the drain plug on the engine block to drain the liquid inside, then close the switch and install the plug, add water and some limescale cleaning agent to the radiator, the accessories store on the market It is generally available. The ratio of water and cleaning agent should be appropriate. Do not add too much. Too much will make it difficult to wash and increase the cleaning burden. Then start the engine to idle at a speed slightly higher than the idle speed, and when the water temperature reaches a green state, continue to run the engine for about ten minutes.
Characteristic
1.Core: The core is the largest part of the radiator. It’s a metal block that features the metal cooling fins that help vent the air. The core is where hot liquid releases heat and gets cooled before being sent through the process again.
2.Pressure cap: The pressure cap works to help seal the cooling
system so it can remain pressurized. Coolant in the radiator is
pressurized to prevent the coolant from boiling. It also keeps the
system more efficient.
3.Inlet and outlet tanks: These tanks are where coolant flows in
and out of the radiator and are loed in the radiator head. Hot
liquid flows from the engine through the inlet tank, and once it is
cooled, goes out through the outlet tank and back into the engine.
4.Radiator hoses: Coolant moves through the engine via the radiator
hoses. They are important for connecting the inlet and outlet tanks
to the radiator and the engine.
