Description
The pilot pump is a very important excavator accessory. It mainly
provides the low-pressure oil pump of the control system, including
the handle, foot pedal, and some control valves attached to the
travel motor and the swing motor. In other words, the oil pressure
of those thinner oil pipes comes from the pilot pump. It is
connected to the main control valve and provides low pressure oil
to operate the handle distribution valve. If the pilot pump is not
installed, the handle cannot move at all.
The pilot pump first lifts the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic oil
tank to a certain pressure, and then transmits it to the
distributor and then to each ppc valve.
