The platinum-plated electrode on pure titanium has the advantages of good electrical conductivity, chemical and electrochemical stability, corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength and catalytic activity, good selectivity and practicability, etc., and is widely used in electronics industry, metallurgy industry, precious metal electroplating and water treatment industries [1].

 

Titanium is a very active metal, it is very difficult to electroplate platinum directly on pure titanium. Especially for porous pure titanium plate, whether the oil removal, pickling and activation in the holes are thorough plays a key role in the uniformity of the coating and the adhesion between substrate and coating. In the process of platinum plating on porous materials, there are two main steps that affect the porosity of porous materials.
