Product Description
Floating crane (also known as crane ship and floating crane) is a kind of engineering ship specialized in lifting operations on water. It is widely used, such as in ports to complete the loading and unloading of goods; Complete salvage and rescue in a maritime accident; Complete port construction, bridge construction and equipment installation in various harbors and offshore hydraulic projects; Complete equipment outfitting and repair in the shipyard; In recent years, with the development of offshore oil, the construction and installation of drilling platforms have been completed by relying on oversized floating cranes. It can be seen that the floating crane is indispensable for all occasions requiring lifting operations on water.
The floating crane is generally composed of two parts: the lower floating ship and the superstructure installed on the deck of the floating ship. The floating ship is used to support the dead weight and lifting weight of the crane, and then transfer them to the water surface through its hull, so that the floating crane can work independently on the water surface. In addition, the floating boat can also enable the crane to navigate from one working place to another along the waterway, or move horizontally in the same working place to meet the requirements for the crane to align with the loading and unloading point or complete the horizontal movement of goods. The superstructure is the lifting device part of the floating crane, which is used for loading and unloading or hoisting goods.
