The SP7-1* intelligent positioner from Technomatic is designed to ensure precise correlation between valve stroke and electrical input signal (mA). It is encased in weather-treated cast aluminum, making it suitable for outdoor installation. The positioner works with a control signal in mA and an air supply pressure of 1.4 to 6 bar, and it also supports signal inversion.

It is available with or without mounting kits and pressure gauge blocks to cater to different requirements, depending on the order. It supports NAMUR actuated valves, and fits rotary (-57 to 57°) or linear (-28 to 28°) pneumatic actuators. Standard features include a Local Communication Interface (LCI) with an optional 'HART® communication' for 20 mA signal-based communication, adhering to HART® Protocol, including HART®5 or HART®7 options.
